Chris As long as the cabinet isn't fastened to the floor you're fine, if the cabinet is fastened to the floor you'll want to install around it.

I see no reason why that couln't be done without any problems. If you don't intend to attach the cabinet to the floor then there are no issues.

Island on tile

I have a 24" X 48" oak island with a corian top. Can I set it on top of Avaire tile without any problem with the weight of the island. I planned to leave it loose and not anchor it so it could be moved
