Installing over laminate wood?

Can I install the tile over laminate wood? There is one or two spots where the laminate has bowed slightly, defintely not more than 1/4 inch. Other than that I don't see any problems. I haven't checked the level of the floor yet.

A couple reasons why you shouldn't go over a laminate floor are, It's difficult to transition the heights, your undercuts at the casings will be very high so if the floor ever is replaced the door jambs and casings will have to be replaced and it's very difficult to truly determine how flat the floor is. Laminate floors remove very quickly, and it's not an approved substrate under Avaire floors. Take the extra step and remove the laminate. you'll be much better off in the long run. Thanks

I agree 100% with Chris, Remove the laminate flooring because you need to check the condition of your sub-flooring for moisture or rot which causes the laminate to pull apart and hoov up as you described.secondly figure out where & how the water was getting there, more than likely from the base of your commode.
