Tile of carpet

I do not have a tack strip for carpet in the door way. I am going to install one. How far from the edge of the carpet should I place the closest edge of the tack strip in order to tuck it in as suggested.

Keep the tackstrip back about 3/8", a lille more if the carpet is thicker a little less if it's thinner.
Avaire tile is 9/16" thick,some thinner carpets may need some shimming to create a flush transition.
