Date: 11/11/2008 5:06 pm EDT Probably not. Avaire tile is a quality porcelain tile that may require a very aggressive type bit. You may however be able to cut the necessary clearance with a diamond blade wet saw. You don't necessarily need a nice round hole in most cases. A "V" groove may work as well.

Date: 11/11/2008 4:53 pm EDT Journeyman is correct. I haven't had very much luck using a Dremmel tool to cut Avaire tile. An angle grinder with a diamond blade designed to cut porcelain tile dry will work better and most likely cost less money. |

Date: 11/12/2008 8:06 am EDT I used a rotozip with a PORCELAIN tile bit worked very well. The bit is kind of expensive approx. $40.00. I cut holes in 5 tile had no problem |
