Date: 2/9/2009 1:31 pm EDT Avaire flooring doesn't need either. It has an IIC rating of (I believe) 58. Moisture won't harm Avaire flooring but if you're installing it in a wet area, like a bathroom floor, then you will want to fill the perimeter with a sealant to prevent water getting under the tile. |
